Kayla Doody is an intern at Navigator’s Calgary office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Human Rights from St. Thomas University. Kayla is currently completing a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy. Throughout her Masters, Kayla has worked alongside Dr. Lindsay Tedds as a Research Assistant analyzing the conflict of interest disclosure and transparency in public policy publications.

Before joining the Navigator team, Kayla worked extensively in the non-profit sector. First starting with United Way of Central New Brunswick in 2017, and then transitioning to United Way of Calgary and Area in 2019. In both organizations, Kayla supported work in communications and marketing, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising.

Kayla currently volunteers with her student association as VP Communications. She is also Co-Editor in Chief of YYC Policy, a student-led initiative promoting accessible and well-researched policy ideas.
