Based in Toronto, John Gardiner brings a dynamic perspective to navigating challenging mandates and communicating complex issues. As a Consultant, John supports clients in developing and executing their public affairs strategies and objectives.

John has a particular interest in the intersection of traditional and digital campaign tactics and how online tools can be leveraged to influence public opinion and has worked on several high-profile mandates and campaigns while at Navigator.

John is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, where he received his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies. During his time at Queen’s, John worked in the Commission of Municipal Affairs at the Alma Mater Society of Queen’s University. He was responsible for overseeing a service focused on improving town-gown relations between the City of Kingston and the Alma Mater Society.

John is an editor and producer of Navigator’s podcasts, Political Traction and Legalized. He is also a supporter of the Literary Review of Canada. He sits on the Corporate Advisory Council for the CGLCC and is a member of the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research’s (CANFAR) Legacy 2.0 group.

John is an avid cyclist and has participated numerous times in the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Northern Pass, benefiting the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto.
