Fariba Al-Hassan is an Intern at Navigator’s Toronto office and joins us with a diverse education and work history. Fariba recently graduated from Carleton University's Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management program (BPAPM), where she specialized in strategic public opinion and communications. Throughout her undergrad, Fariba was an active leader on campus, co-founding Carleton University’s Black Students in Public Affairs Association and co-leading a $25,000 scholarship endowment fund and equity board for BIPOC students in Carleton's BPAPM program.

Fariba has extensive experience working with the Government of Canada in communications, internal auditing, and policymaking for departments such as Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, National Defence, and Public Safety Canada.

Fariba is looking forward to applying her background in student advocacy, communications, and public policy at Navigator.
