He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science, and International Relations at the University of Toronto. During university, Zeus served as Associate Vice-President, University Governance with U of T’s Student Union and was ranked top-10 nationally as a competitive debater with Hart House.
Zeus has worked on campaigns across the country – supporting youth voter outreach, crafting key messages, and leading debate prep as a candidate’s aide in rural Nova Scotia, on an Ontario provincial leadership campaign, and as a legislative affairs volunteer in Ottawa.
Before joining Navigator, Zeus worked in public affairs roles in the private sector for one of Canada’s largest pension funds and a top-5 global gold mining company. In these roles, Zeus led the development of a communication strategy, steered legislative and media monitoring, and supported high-stakes engagements with government officials across ten Canadian provinces, Latin America, and West Africa.
Zeus is passionate about engaging youth in global issues – particularly income security, climate change, and Indigenous affairs. He teaches debate and global issues classes during his spare time. In 2018, Zeus was recognized by the Clinton Foundation for his research modelling a social impact bond (SIB) to combat the national crisis in Indigenous child welfare.
