Specializing in complex strategy and public affairs mandates, Thomas oversees the operations of the executive office and manages the work of the Executive Chairman. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Royal College Canada International, an organization that is a global leader in transforming postgraduate medical education and advancing professional development in over 40 countries.
In his career Thomas has worked with executives, boards and organizations on matters of corporate governance, issues management and strategic communications across numerous sectors including finance, healthcare, technology, media, energy, nonprofit and government. He also advises private individuals and works internally on important firm initiatives.
He is a graduate of the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto, where he completed a master’s degree studying international relations with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region and soft power strategy. Prior to living in Canada, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations from Newcastle University. He also worked in the office of British MP Dominic Grieve who then served as Attorney General and subsequently Chair of the Parliamentary Intelligence and Security Committee.
