Susan has an MBA in international marketing and has worked in research for most of her 30+ year career on both the supplier and buyer sides. She has global experience in this field, including the Americas, Europe and Asia. Susan is passionate about helping to shape businesses and inform their communications through the provision of insightful customer and user experience research.
A professionally trained moderator (at the Burke Institute), Susan has moderated hundreds of focus groups, along with triads, dyads and one-on-one qualitative interviews, among a range of stakeholder groups. Susan also has experience in quantitative research and received Burke Institute training related to advanced techniques in data analysis. She has undertaken projects across a range of industries including automotive, financial services, consumer goods and advertising.
Prior to joining Navigator in 2024, Susan held senior level research positions at two major Canadian banks. She has also worked for Goldfarb Consultants.
Susan has spoken at various research conferences, presented at research schools and taught an international market research course at Humber College. She is a long-time contributor to her professional and personal communities through various volunteer board activities. Currently she sits on the Kindred Spirits Orchestra board.
