As a Senior Consultant, Sandy advises on crisis, corporate, and capital markets issues as well as areas involving significant reputational risk. In the past he has worked on a half-billion-dollar insolvency, multi-hundred-million-dollar shareholder disputes, class actions, corporate governance disputes, internal investigations, and major professional negligence claims, to name just a few. He has also prepared executives to testify at parliamentary hearings and advised clients on how to prepare for, or respond to, summonses and warrants.
Sandy joined Navigator from one of Toronto's leading litigation firms. He graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2016, where he was the silver medalist. Sandy clerked for Justices Frankel and Tysoe of the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017 and remains a member in good standing. Prior to law school Sandy studied Economics at the University of British Columbia and Criminology at Simon Fraser University.
