Olivia Newton
Intern
121 King Street West
Suite 1810
Toronto, ON
M5H 3T9
T (416) 645-2459 onewton@navltd.com LinkedInOlivia is an Intern at Navigator’s Toronto office. Olivia holds a bachelor’s degree from Western University where she received a double major in Media, Information and Technoculture, and Governance, Leadership and Ethics.
At Western, Olivia was an active member of the Faculty of Information and Media Studies Student Council, taking seat on the advocacy team and in subsequent years, additionally joining the faculty’s orientation team.
Prior to joining the team at Navigator, Olivia gathered experience in strategic communications and business-government relations through her previous two roles in the startup space. In the summer of 2022 she launched a business which used rapid testing to enable her community to safely reopen following the pandemic. In her previous roles she has conducted research and built proposals, pitching to government and business leaders in order to get initiatives approved and in motion. Through these experiences she has been able to equip herself with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Olivia is looking forward to learning from her colleagues and growing both personally and professionally during her internship period here at Navigator.
