Nika is an Intern at Navigator in the Toronto office. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Western University. Throughout her degree, Nika has focused on the role of digital media in voter choice. Currently, she is completing a thesis focusing on the role of covert and overt disinformation in influencing the political landscape.

Nika has been very involved with Western’s University Students’ Council, the primary governance body for Western Students. Most recently, Nika held the role of President for Western University’s largest faculty council. In this role, she piloted the creation of undergraduate research grants targeted at supporting marginalized students and assisted in producing recommendations on Western’s Anti-Sexual and Gender-Based Violence policy.

Nika has worked on a range of campaigns at both the provincial and federal level of politics, with much of her work surrounding mobilizing youth to get involved in their local and national government. As Student Trustee she worked alongside the Ontario Student Trustee’s Association on codifying proposals to the Ministry of Education on changes to the education curriculum.
