He brings over a decade of communications and reputation management experience and supports a broad range of Canadian businesses, not-for-profits, and public figures through periods of change and reputational jeopardy.
A natural collaborator and problem solver, Jeff provides trusted counsel to senior executives and board directors around complex challenges such as information security incidents, leadership transitions, labour disputes, reviewable M&A activity, workplace investigations, and product recalls. He also has a proven track record helping clients build their profiles and personal brands with persuasive speeches, opinion editorials and media appearances.
Prior to joining Navigator, Jeff served as an issues manager, communications advisor and press secretary in the Ontario government. He continues to play an active role in the political process, recently holding senior communications and issues management positions on a provincial election campaign and a provincial leadership contest.
His political analysis has been featured on broadcast channels such as CTV News and CP24 and he regularly contributes articles and book reviews to the Literary Review of Canada.
Previously, Jeff worked as a program advisor at Ontario’s Pan/Parapan Am Games Secretariat, where he focused on Indigenous engagement and youth initiatives. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in history from Queen’s University, an Ontario Graduate Certificate in public relations from Humber College, and a Leadership and Management Certificate from the Wharton School. Jeff is a volunteer member of the Communications Committee for the Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation Board of Directors.
