Dr. Alexander Santelli is a highly trained research leader with over two decades of experience in both academic and business settings. Known for bridging the gap between scientific rigor and practical application, Alex has contributed to leading behavioural science journals and driven impactful projects for major public and private organizations across Canada and internationally.

Previously serving as the National Practice Lead at an international public affairs firm, Alex built high-performing research teams and led strategic initiatives that delivered measurable results. Now a leader within Discover, the research arm of Navigator, Alex collaborates with a dynamic team to provide actionable insights for clients spanning several industries. His expertise in behavioural science, public opinion research, and strategic analysis enables clients to navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions.

Alex’s academic journey, culminating in a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Columbia University, provided him with a deep understanding of human behaviour, including personality, motivation, persuasion, and interpersonal dynamics. This foundation, combined with advanced skills in statistical methods, research design, and questionnaire development, equips Alex to approach projects with analytical precision and creative problem-solving.

Certified in focus group moderation and public opinion research, Alex has led numerous initiatives involving both qualitative and quantitative methods. He has a proven track record of engaging diverse participants—from customers and executives to medical professionals and community stakeholders—to uncover insights that drive strategy.
