dmillian@navltd.comWith a proven track record in reputation and social license issues, David possesses an expertise in the fields of intelligence, strategic digital communications and activism. Based in Montreal, he supports clients facing challenges in moving and complex environments.
David has been a communication advisor and strategist for almost 20 years. The first stretch of his career took place in France where he worked as a Communications and Public Affairs manager in the health and pharmaceutical sector (for the French National Blood Service). The challenges involved in this position have led him to hold various positions in France and overseas, where he managed one of the most important health crises of the 2000s (Chikungunya epidemic, Reunion island, 2005-2006).
Having completed two Master’s degrees, one in law and one in communications (Aix-Marseille University), David perfected his training by entering the Economic Warfare School (Paris, 2008) before moving to Canada. He was trained as a competitive intelligence analyst and has since applied his knowledge in the field of issue management and digital strategies.
With a track record in reputation and social license, David has recognized expertise in the fields of intelligence, strategic communications and activism. In 2013, he co-authored a book dedicated to these issues: “Influence and reputation on the Internet: communities, crisis and strategies".
