Chris brings an extensive background in strategic communications, political and policy analysis.
Prior to joining Navigator, he spent 24 years covering Parliament Hill with the CBC, where he served as National Affairs Editor and host of The House, CBC Radio’s weekly political affairs program.
In those roles, he helped lead coverage of major political events and government initiatives. He also wrote regular analysis columns for the news website and has appeared as a commentator on Canadian politics for NPR and the BBC, among other foreign media outlets.
His work has been recognized with a number of journalism awards, including an RTDNA Canada award for investigative journalism and two for Best News Information Program while host of CBC’s The House.
He’s also a sought-after speaker by parliamentary and professional organizations interested in public policy.
Chris is a political studies graduate of Queen’s University at Kingston.
