She has more than a decade of experience in strategic communications, media relations and issues management.
As Director of Corporate Projects, Amanda is responsible for Navigator events and assisting with firm-wide culture, project management and administration projects.
In parallel, she advises clients in various sectors – including but not limited to financial services, mining, real estate development, retail, sports, education, accounting, Crown corporations, law enforcement, and seniors care – on high-stakes corporate announcements, reputational issues and crisis response planning and communications.
Prior to joining Navigator, Amanda developed and executed media relations and issues management strategies for global capital markets, asset management, and wealth management businesses for one of the large Canadian banks, as well as a top insurance company.
Born in Ottawa, she grew up learning French and transitioned to studying Spanish in high school and beyond. Amanda holds a Canadian Securities Course Certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute, a Graduate Certificate (Honours) in Public Relations from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from Western University.
