Previously, Alonso was a Policy Intern at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), where he helped develop and advocate for policies to strengthen Ontario's 400+ local governments. His work spanned housing policy, infrastructure finance, clean energy, and more.
Alonso is studying Public Policy and International Relations at the University of Toronto. Outside the classroom, he has conducted research on social entrepreneurship with the Reach Alliance, climate migration with the School of Cities, and international development with the G7 Research Group. His work has been published in various outlets and presented at international conferences in Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United States.
He looks forward to supporting clients through government relations, strategic communications, and capital markets mandates.
