Our management team is led by a significant number of women colleagues and we strive to promote and empower female leadership across the firm.

We are proud to support Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC)-led initiatives both internally and in our community through pro bono work and volunteering.

Navigator’s offices are fully wheelchair accessible, and we are certified for the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) training, in accordance with the  Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Canadian Human Rights Code.

Navigator is proud to be a signatory of the BlackNorth Initiative. Led by The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism, the BlackNorth Initiative is holding major industry leaders accountable to take action and reshape corporate structures that uphold anti-Black systemic racism against Black Canadians.

Environmental responsibility

We continually work to minimize our impact on the environment and strengthen our environmental practices:

Tree Canada partnership

Navigator is committed to sustainable practices. As part of this commitment, Navigator has partnered with Tree Canada, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments, in every province across the country. Navigator will be a  proud supporter of Tree Canada’s National Greening Program to compensate for our flight travel carbon emissions and to meaningfully impact our environment. With our contribution, trees will be planted in every province in which we operate!

Our paper is forestry certified

FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council)-certified paper is our product of choice. By choosing FSC-certified products, we commit to protecting wildlife habitats and clean water, and to keeping forests healthy for generations to come.

LEED certification

Our Toronto home at 121 King St. West was evaluated on sustainability, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality and innovations in operations, achieving LEED Gold Status. We’re also BOMA BESt Level 3 — the leading environmental certification program for buildings in Canada. Our lights go off automatically each evening, and all of our cleaning products are chemical-free.

Recycling and waste

Navigator has a robust recycling program to manage our waste in a reusable and sustainable fashion. We have also eliminated the use of plastic water bottles in our offices. We have installed water filters so we can provide clean drinking water to our team and our clients without plastic waste.

Volunteerism at Navigator

We encourage our colleagues to get involved in the community, serve on non-profit boards and contribute to pro bono projects. As a firm, we believe volunteer work is important for our colleagues to garner a wider perspective of the world in which we work.

Members of our team commit their time and resources to a number of organizations, including:
