Showcase
Canadians for natural resources
We developed a multimedia campaign for The Canadian Global Cities Council to increase awareness on the economic issue of Canada’s natural resources being sold at a discounted rate. Integral to the campaign strategy was a ‘Letter to Canadians’ video which received more than 133,000 views on YouTube. The campaign received a 2019 Platinum AVA Digital Marketing Award.
Save Oshawa GM
In the wake of an announcement by General Motors (GM) that it was closing its manufacturing plant in Oshawa, Ontario, Navigator was retained by Unifor Canada to design and execute a nation-wide and cross-border public affairs campaign to put public pressure on the company to reverse its decision and keep the plant open. After months of pressure, the company reversed course, investing $170M, saving hundreds of jobs and creating opportunities for future growth. The campaign received a 2020 IABC Gold Quill Award of Excellence and 2019 MARCOM Platinum Award.
