Navigator is seeking an exceptional consultant to join our high-stakes strategy and communications team. This role is designed for a professional who performs at their best in demanding advisory environments where the quality of thinking, clarity of communication and precision of execution directly influence client outcomes, and will report directly into a Principal that sits on the executive leadership team.
The successful candidate will play a central leadership role in the delivery of one of the firm’s most significant client mandates, while also contributing to a broader portfolio of complex client engagements across sectors. Acting as the account director and project management lead for the mandate, you will coordinate strategy execution, manage multiple workstreams and ensure consistent excellence across all client deliverables.
This position offers unusual exposure to senior corporate decision-makers and complex reputational, regulatory and public affairs challenges. It is well suited to individuals who combine analytical discipline, strong judgment and exceptional organizational capability.

What you will do:
- Lead the day‑to‑day management of a major client mandate in the corporate health industry, ensuring seamless coordination across teams, timelines, and deliverables
- Serve as the central project manager across complex initiatives, bringing structure, clarity and discipline to fast‑moving client work
- Support senior advisors in providing strategic counsel to corporate clients on reputation strategy, public affairs campaigns and issues or crisis management
- Develop integrated strategies and produce high‑quality client materials including briefing notes, executive remarks, Q&As, stakeholder maps and media lines
- Monitor and interpret political, regulatory and reputational developments and translate insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders
- Collaborate across internal teams to execute sophisticated public affairs campaigns involving stakeholder engagement, coalition building and public persuasion
- Strengthen long‑term client relationships by delivering consistent excellence and anticipating client needs
What you bring:
- 4-7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, issues management or crisis advisory in an agency or in‑house environment
- Exceptional project management capability with a demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder mandates
- Strong professional judgment and confidence interacting with senior executives and sophisticated clients
- Ability to effectively juggle a diverse set of personalities with skill, empathy and tact
- Outstanding writing ability and attention to detail across executive materials and public‑facing communications
- A clear, disciplined communicator who can distill complex issues into concise, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences
- Strong instincts for tone, positioning, and timing, particularly in sensitive or high-stakes environments
- Commercial awareness and the ability to connect communications and public affairs strategies to broader business objectives
- A collaborative mindset combined with the ability to take ownership of critical workstreams
