As a Consultant in Navigator’s Toronto office, Kurtis leverages several years of experience in executing national stakeholder engagement strategies and developing research-driven communication plans in often complex and contentious environments.

At Navigator, Kurtis wields his aptitude for strategic communications, public affairs and issues management to support clients through their most challenging mandates.

Previously, Kurtis served as a Communications Officer with the Office of the Procurement Ombudsman (Government of Canada). In this role, Kurtis managed nation-wide stakeholder engagement and led the development of the Procurement Ombudsman’s Annual Report, a report that is tabled by the Minister of Public Services and Procurement in Parliament each year.

Skilled in translating technical information into engaging material, Kurtis holds a Master of Information from the University of Toronto, where he studied the intersections of culture and technology. Before his master’s degree, Kurtis earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Communications from Carleton University.
