Kurtis brings experience in executing national stakeholder engagement strategies and developing research-driven communication plans in often complex and contentious environments.
As a Consultant in Navigator’s Toronto office, Kurtis leverages competencies in communications and project management from his experience working for the Canadian federal government. Having previously worked as a Communications Officer at the Office of the Procurement Ombudsman (OPO), Kurtis brings experience in executing national stakeholder engagement strategies and developing research-driven communications plans in often complex and contentious environments. At OPO, Kurtis managed and led the development of the Procurement Ombudsman’s Annual Report, a report that is tabled by the Minister of Public Services and Procurement in Parliament each year.
Kurtis recently graduated from the Master of Information program at the University of Toronto, where he studied the intersections of culture and technology. Paired with his Honours Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Communications from Carleton University, Kurtis brings a nuanced and critical understanding of Canada’s contemporary and emerging technological media landscape.
