He provides strategic communications and issues management advice to clients across many sectors and has guided several of Canada’s largest businesses and not-for-profits through periods of change and reputational jeopardy. His work includes a broad array of complex challenges such as information security incidents, leadership transitions, labour disputes, reviewable investments, external investigations and product recalls.
Jeff also has a proven track record helping Canadian executives and public figures build their profiles and personal brands with persuasive speeches, opinion editorials and media appearances. Jeff is an experienced writer and regularly contributes to the Literary Review of Canada. His commentary on top news stories has been featured on high-profile broadcast channels, including CP24 and CTV News.
Prior to joining Navigator more than five years ago, Jeff served as an issues manager, communications advisor and press secretary in the Ontario government. He continues to participate in the political process and recently served as issues director for a provincial election campaign.
Previously, Jeff worked as a program advisor at Ontario’s Pan/Parapan Am Games Secretariat, where he focused on Indigenous engagement and youth initiatives. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in history from Queen’s University, an Ontario Graduate Certificate in public relations from Humber College and a Leadership and Management Certificate from the Wharton School. Jeff is a volunteer member of the Communications Committee for the Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation.
