Carolyn is an intern in the Toronto office. She is a Political Studies student at Queen’s University, who will be graduating in June 2022. She is interested in public policy and how it relates to social issues such as gender, health and the environment.

Carolyn has previously worked as a constituency assistant for the Member of Parliament for Kingston and the Islands, for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and on a variety of political campaigns, including for Ontario Liberal Party Leader Steven Del Duca. She is the Co-Chair of Queen’s Female Leadership in Politics, Canada’s premier undergraduate conference that relates to gender equality in the political realm. She spent three years as an editor and reporter for The Queen’s Journal, where she was a finalist for the 2020 John H. Macdonald Award for Excellence in Student Journalism. She is currently the Co-Chair of the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee Fellowship Program.

Carolyn volunteers as a Crisis Line Counsellor at the Sexual Assault Centre Kingston, where she also produces, writes, and co-hosts a podcast that addresses sexual violence on university campuses.
